Nukkumatti lamp - perfect for the nightstand and bedtime stories

Nukkumatti is the Finnish name for a friendly Sandman character from Scandinavic mythology. He sprinkles magic sand in children´s eyes to make them sleep. He was also the inspiration for the Nukkumatti lamp by the celebrated Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. The lamp´s unconventional shape resembles the cone-shaped hat that the Nukkumatti character is often depicted as wearing.

The product is made of recyclable and non-toxic polyethylene. It is manufactured at Melaja Oy's factory in Riihimäki, and each product is handfinished before packing and delivery to the customer.
